There is a strong and important contribution that the cultural heritage in achieving the EU"s 2020 strategy goals for a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Its importance paved way for an economic impact and environmental sustainability. EU policies should also consider the importance of cultural heritage in the attainment of their goals. In the next Council Work Plan for Culture, a major framework for the EU's medium-term cultural cooperation that which will be implemented from 2015 onwards.EU Commission also calls for more networks and resources that come from public and private sectors.

Cultural heritage that we inherited from the past shows national identity of each people living in a certain country. It is a very strategic resource for economic, social, and environmental development not only in the EU countries but to all countries in the world. Policies and laws should take care and consider its impact to one's cultural heritage because it is also a wealth of a certain country to achieve sustainability in many aspects.
