The upcoming visit of US President Barrack Obama this coming April 24,2014 is not a deadline for the bilateral negotiation on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.That certain negotiation is a big political decision for Japan officials to undertake. Although, there where series of meetings has been done prior to Obama's visit,still Japan is rethinking of what could it affect the country. There was a tight-lipped when it comes to the tariff on agricultural and automobile products.The negotiation was still a deadlocked and they are still hoping for a broader agreement during Obama's visit.
It is just right that the Japanese government for not making a haste decision in pursuing the TPP Agreement with the US. They must weigh things out.In making such a great decision they must know the advantages and disadvantages of that said agreement. They must also consider protecting the key products of the country like the agricultural products because it could be a great loss to the local farmers who are working for their survival. Entering into such agreement could be crucial for it is detrimental to its people and its economy if not being studied carefully. It is the goal of every government to give what's the best and serving the interest of the majority not for the interest of those who are in its position and the interest of other countries.
